Greek Chicken Burger

Greek Chicken Burger Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb
(450g) ground chicken
- 1/4
cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4
cup diced red onion
- 2
cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4
cup chopped fresh spinach
- 1/4
cup chopped kalamata olives
- 1 tsp
dried oregano
- 1/2
tsp salt
- 1/4
tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp
olive oil
- 4
whole wheat burger buns
- Tzatziki
sauce (optional)
- Sliced
cucumber, tomato, and red onion (for toppings)
Instructions:
- Mix
the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, feta
cheese, red onion, garlic, spinach, olives, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix
until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Form
the Patties: Form each of the 4 equal pieces of the mixture into a
patty.
- Cook
the Burgers: In a big skillet over medium heat, warm up the olive oil.
Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked
(internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
- Assemble
the Burgers: Toast the whole wheat buns if desired. Place the cooked
chicken patties on the buns and top with sliced cucumber, tomato, and red
onion. Add tzatziki sauce for extra flavor.
- Serve
and Enjoy: Serve the Greek chicken burgers warm with a side of salad
or sweet potato fries.
